Pala maintains two fabrication shops. The Baton Rouge fabrication shop
contains 24,000 sq ft under roof with an additional 2 acres of laydown
area and is located at Pala's corporate offices in Baton Rouge, LA. The
12,000 sq foot shop in Port Allen, LA specializes in fabrication of
miscellaneous structural steel and cutting plate for tanks and pressure
vessels. The Port Allen shop contains 8 acres of laydown area.
Our Baton Rouge shop has extensive experience in fabricating pipe,
pressure vessels and tanks. Materials used in the fabrication include,
but are not limited to: carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex stainless
(ASTM-2205), chrome, nickel, monel, hastelloy, inconel, and alloy 20.
