Pala's internal engineering services provide our clients a single source for Engineering, Fabrication and Construction. This allows for minimal client involvement and reduced cycle time. Our engineers together with construction management utilize Pala's constructability process to reduce total installed cost and minimize the opportunity for unsafe conditions during construction and operation.
ASME
CODED VESSELS - U-Stamp, S-Stamp, R-Stamp Repairs, API-510
Repairs
Design engineering and drawings are provided for new vessels
in accordance with ASME Section 8 Div. 1 and customer specifications
including wind loading and seismic design.
API
- 620/650 TANKS
Pala's
tank engineers have designed all types of API tanks ranging from
5 feet in diameter to 230 feet in diameter including self-supported
dome roofs as well as double bottoms and other leak detection
systems.* Our API - 653 inspectors work with our Tank Engineers
to maximize our client tank maintenance dollars.
*Pala also has tank experience with various alloys, including
stainless steel, monel, and duplex stainless.
CIVIL
- STRUCTURAL
Design
calculations/drawings are provided meeting ACI, AISC, clients
specifications and other applicable codes while minimizing construction
costs and schedule.
PIPING
ISOMETRICS
Pala's
field engineers work in our client's units to provide ISO's for
shop fabrication and field erection which meet our client's specifications.

Our
engineers work with our client's staff utilizing Pala's constructability
process to minimize construction costs and schedule while considering
all safety, operability, and maintenance needs.
DRAFTING
- DRAWINGS
Pala
utilizes Autocad 2000 to produce prints as needed to support our
engineering, shop fabrication and field projects. Our
CAD Process integrates Client's drawings with shop fabrication
details and field erection drawings. This
includes plans, sections, isometrics as well as 3-D modeling.
