Pala’s history in the boiler industry reaches back to 1987.  Pala began Industrial boiler repair in the pulp and paper industry. Over the years the business has expanded to cover not only Pulp and Paper facilities, but also Refining, Chemical, Food & Beverage and Power industries with work from $2000.00 to over a $ 1 M

Representative Boiler Projects:

• Exxon Mobil, U.S.A. / Aalborg US – Field assembly of 2 modular waste heat boilers and coded boiler repairs.

• Sugarcane Growers Cooperative of FL –Boiler Modifications for Scrubber Installation on a 200,000 PPH boiler.  $ 160,000 - Total re-tube with water wall installation on a 150,000 PPH boiler.

• St. James Sugar– Complete re-tube of 180,000 PPH boiler $ 300,000 – Rebuild of Air heater frame and 1300 tubes.

• Borden Chemicals and Plastics, Inc. – Maintenance of 3 co-generating facilities and 3 Gas Fired Steam Boilers. 

• Cora Texas – Header modification and water cooled grate installation on a 150,000 PPH boiler.

• Texaco – Complete rebuild of SRU primary and final.

• Crown Vantage – Addition of Economizer module, repairs to 2 wood chip boilers and rebuild of waste heat boiler.

• Santee Cooper, Inc. –Scrubber (3ea) modification to bring scrubbers back into code for GE power plant.
